The Office Administration curriculum prepares individuals for employment as administrative office personnel who use skills in the areas of office management, office finance, legal office, virtual office, customer service, and office software. Graduates should qualify for employment opportunities in a variety of office positions in business, government, and industry. Upon graduation, students may be eligible to sit for industry recognized certification exams.
Coursework in the Office Administration – General Office Administration track will include: office ethics, finance, keyboarding and document formatting, virtual office, office management, computer software applications, oral and written communications, customer service, and analysis and coordination of office tasks and procedures. Students will learn administrative and support functions and develop skills applicable in business environments.
Coursework in the Office Administration – Legal Office Administration track will include: legal terminology, legal office procedures, legal document formatting, office management, computer software applications, oral and written communications, maintaining and organizing files, and preparing for hearings, trials, and corporate meetings. Students will learn administrative and support functions and develop skills applicable in legal environments.
